Last weekend defiantly pushed me to crave for something that could give me a ray of light. Something fun. Something wild. Something striking…
Something Neon!
By combining fluorescent yellow, pink, and orange Stabilo highlighter hues with denim and lace, I don a lady-like approach in this season’s fresh and modern hit, Thinking…Why blend in with the gloomy weather when you can instantly lighten up any soul and make use of this trend’s show-stopping power? (Bright idea right?) *wink*

Dramatically playful, detail oriented, wholesome with slight sexiness, colorful and sweet. The Fifties was fundamentally a time of conformity, you won’t find anything wild or risqué on these pages. Think of it as good, clean, wholesome stuff. Instead of lingerie think night shirts, instead of mini skirts, think at the knee length skirts, instead of shorts think trousers and you’ll get the idea.

I’m pretty sure no woman can live without fashionable sandals (can you?). Every woman (and gays) aims of having gorgeous, stylish sandals that they can wear for casual days or even for a formal event or night out parties(or even at work or at school). Sandals used to mean flat shoes with straps that were made for all day easy wear. But today they have evolved into one of the top fashion trends available because of its very versatile designs hence, the comfort that it brings.
Undeniably, we can agree that we really love owning any kind of sandals whether it’s flat or a high heel one (I go for flat down to earth ones, usually even if I look so small on ‘em haha!), most especially this…

Sugar, spice and all things pastel.
When we were just little girls our loyalty to pink was unrivaled and anything with flowery detail, may it be big or small, made us feel like a princess (more like a Barbie for me!).
Our taste may have undergone an extreme evolution but there’s still something compelling in coveting pastel-hued, delicate, eye-cooling pieces reminiscent of Marie Antoinette (Oh btw, do you guys know that

Let me start this post with a question.
How long has I been gone from the blogosphere?

What to do, when you’re late and you only have zero minutes to get ready for school?
I figured five simple steps and thought I should share it with you ladies and gays! Mind you, These are based on nothing factual but my experience! ;)

Fashion has a very colorful history we can always refer to, as they say. What’s regale about it is that it enables us to go back to years when we were not even born yet, simply by giving an outfit a touch of vintage. In doing so, whether we’re channeling the 6O’s Retro or the 8O’s Hippie, we should cut across the timeline and give it a sense of this centuries update or a pinch of our own style, at least.
A plum gold chain detailed kimono, a soft white laced shorts, attention grabbing baroque like specs, leatherette belt,velvet-ed shoes and top. Mixed with fair amount of accessories -This is me referring to fashion history, kind of and somehow giving my fair share of vintage dressing with a 21st century twist.
P.S
I wore this to Funky Plum Vintage’s event last Saturday (more about that in my upcoming posts) and I just realized that I actually dressed like the name of the store, itself. What do you think about this look?

Eye Popping Colors. Bright contrasting hues. Winsy prints. Stop me before I fill this post up with those very summer worthy adjectives.
Don’t you just love how this season could give us unexceptional possibilities to dress up? From splices of patterns to solid color blocking to yummy pastels, I could zaberously go on and on and on…and on to name it all!!!

and as much as I am close to despise how sultry (note 34°C here) it is in Manila lately, I couldn’t help but dress more often. I don’t know if it has really something to do with my more feminine sense of clothing, but I noticed that I have more clothes for hot days than for cold ones. It’s a closet domination.
Got me? If you did, well maybe you’re just like me who let summer clothes take over her closet, don’t worry coz that’s a good thing, I guess! (hihi) Is it? So we gotta do what we gotta do, let’s take those clothes out and wear ‘em! :)

- on to my outfit now. I wore this to one of my friend’s (read closest girlfriend) birthday party at Distillery last weekend and I’d love to share this photo to all of you, just because I’m “extra goofy” here (I always look serious in my outfit shots, that’s me trying to do fierce shots or..not haha) but realistically, I am more likely the person in this photo :

Those are spreads of moisten chocolate cake on our front teeth! hihihihi! ;)

Don’t forget to join my ongoing give away and Thanks a bunch to those who joined already.
