Ola! I’m back to give you guys a quick post of how to’s. Have you noticed that I’ve used the Tag Fashion MacGyver twice this week already? That is because I will be having a new portion here in my blog named after that. Yes, an addition to my Weekly Dose of Shoes, outfit posts and Featured Designer of the month.

This time I’ll be entering the world of DIY Blogging slash Do It Yourself Blogging. I know it sounds familiar to all of you girls! :) How did I get into this? All blame goes to first yours truly, Since DIYing has always been a part of me, evuuuurrr since I opened my eyes into fashion, i mean since birth! haha no kidding! Second good all blame goes to one of my blogspiration ispy-diy, her blog inspired me to have this portion and to share my knowledge about DIY to my readers. Make sure you guys check her blog too! Ahh-maazing! :)

I should prolly stop bore typing you guys and start making sense here. So as for my first entry I will teach you a very simple way on how to glitterize pumps. It’s a big hit now a days with all the gal-axial prints, sequins and metallics.
MATERIALS
°A pair of pumps °Elmer’s Glue (washable)
°Glitters ° Floor Cover
° Basins and Brushes ° News Paper or Magazine Sheets
STEPS

Step 1 : Choose a pair of lola/old pumps. I chose this black pumps, i know it looks swank and boring! ;)

Step 2 : Make sure you have something to cover your floors unless you want them shiny and glittery too ;) and crumpled sheets of papers and put fill the shoe inside.

Step 3: Make sure you have basins or anything where you can mix the glue and glitters into. It’s also advisable to use brushes to evenly spread the glits.

Step 4 : Instead of having one color, choose two glits combination to give off a more glamour effect. I chose gold and white.

Step 5 : Do the mix, the glitter mix! haha! :)

Step 6: Use Elmers glue and spread it like a mayo spread into your shoe and sprinkle the glitters on it. Make sure you Don’t mix the glue and the glitters into one basin. It should be glue on shoe first and sprinkle with glitters.

Step 7 : Let the glue settle for a day then do the same steps to other shoe part.Don’t forget about the heels, they should also be glittered. (Photo above was taken when the pair were not done yet). Finish all those final touches and polish vital parts like the heels, and linings with the use of a clear nail polish. Wait for a day and voila!
Seven easy steps and you can shine like a star with your stylish yet cheap glitter pumps! :)

What do you think?
Feel free to ask questions and share me your DIY-ing experience as well. Let me know if you’ve done this and send me a picture via email so I can include it in line with this post. :)
